Precision agriculture has been gaining tract with the goal of optimizing in-field performance. Surveys can be used to generate declivity maps, level curves, canopy height models (CHM), vegetation vigor analysis (NDVI) and more.

NDVI can also be used to identify and analyze crop faults across a wide range of cultures. allowing farmers to detect areas performing below expectations and apply the appropriate corrective measures.
